CJP is a civic engagement and public interest information platform that publishes governance accountability data, citizen ratings of Indian state governments and civic commentary in satirical format. CJP is not a registered political party, does not contest elections and has no formal political affiliation.

The Platform is provided for general informational, educational and civic engagement purposes. Nothing on the Platform constitutes legal, medical, financial or any other form of professional advice.

The Rate Your State feature allows citizens to submit anonymous ratings of their state governments. By submitting a rating, you represent that:

CJP reserves the right to exclude or remove ratings that appear to be submitted in bad faith, as part of organised manipulation, or that otherwise do not reflect genuine citizen experience. CJP's determination of what constitutes a bad-faith rating is final.

All original content on the CJP Platform — including written articles, data analysis, graphic design, the cockroach mascot, the CJP name and logo, and all associated creative elements — is owned by CJP and protected by applicable intellectual property law.

Much of the data CJP publishes is sourced from official Indian government reports and international research institutions. This data is owned by the respective original publishers and is referenced under fair use and public interest principles. CJP does not claim ownership of government data and encourages users to access primary sources directly.
